The Columbus Aquatic Club is pleased to announce that we will begin offering opportunities for private coaching sessions for our current athletes.  These sessions are available to current members of the Hurricane Aquatic Club only and who hold a current membership with USA Swimming or US Masters Swimming.  Coaches will work with the athlete to identify areas for improvement in technique and work to develop new skills. 

For our beginning swimmers (Cat 1 and 2): Private coaching is most effective for swimmers who have mastered the foundational skills rather than swimmers that are in their first year or two of learning. For many of our Cat 1 and 2 swimmers, they simply need time & repetition in practice to improve, or time for their cooridnation and motor skills to continue to develop. We believe swimmers will get the most value out of their team memberships by focusing on practice time and saving private coaching for when they have hit a "wall" in their learning or have a particular challenge that is causing them to struggle in practice or at meets.  As always, we want our members to have the best experience possible and want to make sure your swimmers get the training that will benefit them the most.  Don't hesitate to reach out to your coach or a board member for advice!

Private Coaching Session Rates:

• 30 Minute Session $40
• 45 Minute Session $50
• 60 Minute Session $60

Semi-Private Coaching Sessions: (2 athletes from the same practice group or with similar skill levels*)

• 30 Minute Session $70
• 45 Minute Session $90
• 60 Minute Session $110

Private Coaching Session Rules:

• Semi-Private:  For semi-private coaching, athletes must be in the same practice group or have similar skill setes. Coaches will determine if sibling groups are close enough in skill level to benefit from a semi-private session.
• Billing: All billing for Private Coaching will be invoiced to your account when you request the session and included in your automatic payment on the 1st of the month. We can not accept cash or checks for these sessions.
• Cancellations: Please remember that private sessions means the coach is reserving that time just for your athlete.  No-Shows or Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full session price and will not be rescheduled. 
• Rescheduling: If you must reschedule, please notify the coach at least 24 hours in advance. Private sessions that have been rescheduled twice at the athletes' request will be charged the full session fee and will not be rescheduled.
• Refunds: Private Sessions are non-refundable once they have been billed and scheduled with the Coach.
