Columbus Aquatic Club Diving

The Columbus Aquatic Club is excited to announce that this year we will be offering an 8-week Summer Diving Team!
This intro to diving program is open to rising 8th graders and high school students interested in learning the basics of competitive diving and who wish to prepare for the high school diving season. Divers will train three days a week, which includes two in-water diving board sessions and one dryland session. Divers are encouraged to attend all sessions to get the maximum benefit of the program. (Those participating in Hurricane dryland training program on Tuesdays may skip diving dryland practice with prior approval from Coach Aimee.)
No prior diving experience is required to particpate, however divers must be proficent swimmers and be able to pass the Columbus Aquatic Center's Diving Board test.
Dates:
- June 3 to July 25, 2024
- End of Program Diving Showcase: Thursday, July 25th.
Practices:
- Mondays: 5-6:30 (Pool Practice)
- Tuesdays: 5-6:30 (Drylands Practice)
- Thursdays: 2:30-4:00 (Pool Practice)
Cost:
- $350 for the 8-week session
- $22 AAU Youth Athlete Membership (Purchased directly through AAU HERE. (Club Code: W3D8T3)
